The label

EMICODE®In order to be awar­ded the EMICODE® label, man­u­fac­tur­ers need to sub­mit their products to extens­ive test­ing car­ried out by renowned insti­tutes. Based on sci­en­tific­ally determ­ined test res­ults, the products are clas­si­fied into dif­fer­ent emis­sion classes.

Only products that meet the strict emis­sion lim­its may be labeled with the EMICODE® seal. Man­u­fac­tur­ers com­mit to pro­du­cing these products in a qual­ity-assured and con­trolled man­ner to ensure com­pli­ance with the require­ments of the EMICODE® class at all times.

To ensure the reli­ab­il­ity of the products’ emis­sion claims, the products are reg­u­larly sub­mit­ted to ran­dom spot checks by inde­pend­ent, inter­na­tion­ally recog­nized test­ing insti­tutes.

The label is cur­rently avail­able in 24 lan­guages. If you need addi­tion­al lan­guage ver­sions, feel free to con­tact us.
