EMICODE® compared to other labels

Eco- and envir­on­ment­al labels often set dif­fer­ent pri­or­it­ies. The EMICODE® focuses in par­tic­u­lar on the emis­sion of volat­ile organ­ic com­pounds (VOCs) and restricts or pro­hib­its the use of cer­tain haz­ard­ous sub­stances. The table below com­pares the TVOC lim­it val­ues (total volat­ile organ­ic com­pounds) as well as oth­er eval­u­ation para­met­ers. For an accur­ate assess­ment, the respect­ive test con­di­tions must be taken into account.
